I'm not sure if it is their wedding pictures or not. Andrea will have to give us more information about her parents. I think it is interesting that Mabel's father's name was Hagen Krabseth. There was a boy on tv last night with the first name Hagan. Different, huh?

Yes, this is the wedding photo of Norris and Mabel Hagen, taken June 15, 1935. They were married on the Krabseth farm on a rainy day. Louis and Christina Tollefson were late because he was fixing the car, or something like that. Grampa Hagen cried at the wedding. He was the sentimental archetypal man.
By using the adjective 'archetypical', you seem to imply that men are typically sentimental, not just Grandpa Hagen. This seems to be contrary to the strong, stoic image we men have been trying to promote. Perhaps there was more to the story than we know. What about this: Grandpa Hagen, happily observed the wedding of his son to lovely Mabel. However, although he bravely smiled, the pain from his toe which he had just smashed into a step as he entered the Krabseth home caused his eyes to flood with tears. As an archetypical man, he was able to ignore the pain and avoid spoiling his son's wedding.
