Grandpa Hagen's younger sister Tillie

Reading about Tillie in Arnold's book , it is interesting to note that her life must not always been a happy one. She never married and lived on the farm with her parents until their death. She loved horses and made many paintings using them as her models. Late in life, she lived in a small home in Ashby. She must have died of Alzheimers since Arnold wrote that she became unmanageable and was put into the State Hospital in Fergus Falls. She died in l940.
