Luke and Suzy

I have not posted a picture of my two kids...this was one when they were just back from fishing last summer...Suzy is in Manzanita, Oregon and married and Luke in Sioux Falls, SD. I never remember to take family pictures when they are home so this year I must do that in June when we all will be together for a week here. Seems I take pictures of flowers but not the kids! HA! I have to get better about this but if I have not learned in 34 years...well I am thinking the prospects are not good! I obviously do not have Gayle or Marilyn's traits in this nor my sister Marlene's as she takes pictures constantly! I am just rotten at it!

Hi Janie! What a nice picture of your kids. I bet you are looking forward to June. I have heard lots about Suzy's store, it sounds very nice. Hope you had a great week-end!

Great looking kids, Janie! Is that your house in the background? You must love living next to a lake. The kids must have had fun growing up with boating, fishing and swimming right outside their door. Can you ice skate in the winter? Are you out ice fishing in the winter and eating a lot of fish? I can see you,Janie, sitting in a ice house waiting for a fish to bite!! Did you ever skate down at Cottonwood Lake and warm up in someones ice house? Once I was skating and the wind was blowing so hard that I think I was skating backwards just standing still!

Yes, we can skate all over the place if the snow is not bad but that is so hard to keep clear now that we are older so never bother anymore. I sure remember skating on Cottonwood but we warmed up by a bonfire and I do not even remember icehouses! HA! But I always wondered why the fire did not melt a hole in the ice! I do not ice fish but Luke and Andy love to and they put a camera down the hole and watch the fish do their thing...some time I will have to snowshoe out and take a look but with their gear and the hamradio gear and the camera etc...and the heater...well lets just say there is never room for me! Ha!
