Hagens love rocks

OK cousins -- my theory on why Hagens love rocks, is that our Dads spent their youth picking rocks out of the fields to make room for crops. Here is a picture of a place that all rock lovers would find great delight: mainly the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. It is worth a trip to go there, and dont' miss the Red Rocks Pink Jeep tourn. It costs a pretty penny and is worth every bit of it. Sedona is one of my favorite (if not my very favorite place) that I've ever visited.

Hi Andrea!
You sure take fun trips! Driving a pink jeep around a red rock park is interesting in itself :-). I like this site, I get to go on all kinds of trips through the pictures.
Take care!

I just love it there too Andrea. I have friends who rent near one of the canyons for the whole winter and just love hiking all the trails and say that antique hunting is wonderful! HA!

When we were in Mohab, Utah this spring we actually hit the weekend they were celebrating a huge rock climbing convention. We saw more rigged jeeps etc. with old and young at the wheel. We were told that by the weekend it would look like South Dakota's motorcycle bash. Of course Arne suggested we get out of town!! HA. Not sure I'd have the nerve to crawl over those rocks as I am so afraid of heights...you knew that. Utah and Arizona have beautiful scenery. However, the pink jeep could tempt me.....maybe.
