1939 GMC COE Truck

Hey - I went to a local car show and saw a pretty neat looking truck. There were lots of fancy cars - but this little red number stole the show (in my view, any way). Just the thing any 'once upon a time' farm boy ought to be driving. Nice red leather interior, new chassis, air, power windows and doors. All the accoutrement's of fine living. So if any of you out there know of an old 1939 (or so) GMC COE, let me know.

Hey Dave,
My husband Otfried's fantasy is to drive a truck cross country. This one looks like it could make it. Another of his fantasys, is to be a cab driver in New York City. I'm content to walk or swim!

Why not rent a motor home and drive it across the county. They're plenty truck-like and you would have all the comforts of home (or so they say). To say the least, that would be quite an adventure.

Hi Dave,
No way would I ever go cross country in a truck with Otfried. He drives like he's on the Autobahn, which means he passes everyone. Can you imagine driving on those western road, driving a motor home, and passing every car. I can imagine it. Therefore, I don't go.
We are visiting Montana in August, however . . . though we're renting a car, not a motor home.

I am not sure this is the rig for me...if I could have something it would be a 1957 TR3!! Baby blue with white leather interior! HA! Andy has a 1933 model B Ford if I remember right...is that right David? anyway, he loves the little thing. men and their trucks...what is it with these things? Ha! Saw a cute fixer upper just the other day...it was a pink and white chevy pickup!!! Pretty cool! Maybe you would like that one Andrea! Ha! It was from the 40's or early 50's...who needs a motor home when there are so many nice places to stay! Ha! Where in Montana will you be going?
