Hi All
I visited my mom recently. While there, I brought back many pictures from her collection. I have scanned them in and now posted them

ARDY!!! I am so glad you came and what a wonderful site full of pictures and memories! I so enjoyed seeing so many of Frank with Amy and the kids too. Ardy...I think you should have been in the movies!!! You have got such an expressive face and you appeared to be a little dickens! You had such a grin and sparkle in that eye! What a cutie...so fun to see those early pictures as we never saw you then I am sure unless I just do not remember those years. I wish we would have gone west at some point to visit you...seems we were always on the farm. Loved seeing Grandma Hagen...those are just some great pictures and know everyone is going to enjoy them so very much! Thanks! Hope you can make some comments around the boards as well!
Say Ardy, Do you still have that website for your african violets? Are you still breeding them? Those were such lovely pictures the last time I saw them...so would love to see some more!
Ardy - thanks for posting these pictures. As Jane wrote, it is great to see them. I know we used to have pictures of Grandma Hagen, but where they are, who knows. I especially liked the one of you and Frank in the wash tub. Great picture! Also, the ones of the seven Hagen siblings at various ages are super. Lots of memories in old pictures, and they illustrate tangibly the connections between us. Good job!
Hi Ardy!
I sure appreciate you posting all of those great pictures. I barely remember Grandma so it is really nice to see such nice pictures of her and the whole family. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the pictures, Ardy! It was great seeing the pictures of your family. Hopefully, mom has old pictures of Grandma Hagen. Seeing Grandma out in her strawberry patch ceertainly brought back memories. We loved her strawberry jam and freshbuns! We have so enjoyed reading your dad's book. Thanks for scanning it in for all of us to read.
Finally one of the "older" cousins is able to comment. Surprising what happens when you can't remember your password!! Thank you Ardy for submitting all of the pictures from your Mom's archives. I so enjoyed all of them, especially the pictures of Grandma. Gayle and I have so many fond memories of Grandma since we spent so much time with her. The one of her picking strawberries and seeing how much work she went through pampering those plants makes me wish I had expressed more appreciation. We just knew we loved her strawberries and peas!!
Arnold wore red shoes....now that was a big surprise. How I wish I could chuckle with him about that now. I'm on the second read of Arnold's book. I hope others have been able to get the copy.
