Opdahl Church & Cemetary

We can thank the Haugen family for maintaining the church and cemetery at Opdahl. They have made many improvements and in many ways the outside of the church looks better than it did before it was closed. The inside is pretty spooky and I would not want to go past peeking in the door. The raccoons have made themselves at home and they aren’t much for keeping house! It was interesting that while in Norway, John and I visited an area above the tundra line called Opdahl. After seeing the area I can see the similarities since the topography looks like the plains of ND.
