Aric & Heli's House Monday 25 June 2007

Aric has developed a real interest in landscaping and has improved his yard (more than an acre) by adding many new plants and two semi loads of mulch. He has azaleas and blue hydrangeas along the drive that are beautiful when they are blossoming. His cherry trees were spectacular this spring before the cold snap hit and all the leaves dropped from the trees and bushes. The plants are just recovering from the freeze.

Hi Gayle!
Aric sure does a nice job in the yard. You'll have to bring him home with you and John sometime, for about....... 6 weeks....with his yard tools :-). See you next week!

It is so interesting how the love of gardening seems to run in the family! His place is gorgeous Gayle...I could use him for 6 weeks too! HA!
When I was not painting so much I was a Master Gardener here but now the gardens are going to pot because I have no time for them...have removed many but David is quite the gardener and grows fruit trees etc, he seems to have a real knack for this as well. Must be the farmer in us but did not know that was genetic! Ha!

Your house is beautiful as well as the yard. I feel like this must be close to a "Gone With the Wind" movie set.
