Maud Canyon
This is a trail on the east ridge here in Butte. It was very warm, very long and pretty much uphill the whole way. My best friend Kareniesa, her kids...Jade, Kaleb and Paige...along with Andrew and my kids Matthew and Stephanie attempted this around the hottest time of the day. With all the rain/snow we had this spring everything is very green. When you get to the end of the trail you can overlook Butte and the Berkeley Pit. Susie, Thanks for all the pictures. I'm kind of mixed up though on who is who, namely is Andrew your cousin Andrew Hagen or someone else. I'm a bit out of the loop.

Yes that is my cousin Andrew (Lewis's son), he lives here in Butte and works at Robert Peccia & Associates as a Civil Engineer.
Thanks for all the pictures! I have never been out that way except by train...maybe one day I will make it! Susi, you just moved there right? Weren't you in Michigan? Marilyn keeps me posted but I am getting all mixed up now...ha!
No, you are thinking of my sister Alissa, I've been living here since 2001. She is currently living in Lafayette IN. We had a family get together over the 4th in Kalispell, and I will post those pictures soon!
You will have to excuse me Susi...I am old, and all I do is sit and paint so am braindead half the time! Ha! I just never are around you girls to keep everyone straight!~! That is why having this blog is so important so we all begin to know one another! So nice you can see Andrew!
