John and Gayle's son Aric recently visited SLC and was kind enough to meet Shirley and I for supper. A very nice young man and a credit to his parents. We especially enjoyed hearing about how, when he was little, he and his sister would occasionally catch their mom practicing her cheerleading moves when she thought no one was around.

Aric Axness visits SLC
John and Gayle's son Aric recently visited SLC and was kind enough to meet Shirley and I for supper. A very nice young man and a credit to his parents. David, You may get this message twice. I don't know what happened to the last one that I sent. Thanks for posting the picture and for the nice comments that you made about Aric. I'm happy that he met the two of you and that you were able to have a good visit. By the way, I don't recall being shy about my "Boom a-lackas and Chick-a-lackas." I can't kick my legs quite as high but they still do go off the ground!
Great picture! What brought Aric out that way? How nice you could meet up and have a visit! Tell Shirley Hi...she looks great!
Oh and I forgot to add...Gayle...how do you remember those cheers? I don't think I could tell you one and I did that for years...good grief...I am having a senior moment I guess! Ha!
