On Vacation

Shirley and I met our daughter Dasha in Cancun recently. Besides laying around the pool, we visited Chichen-Itza and did some snorkeling. The weather was warm and water was perfect for swimming. We all had a nice time.

You must have had a wonderful vacation in Cancun. It is great having this blog so we can keep in touch and share family photos. I love the picture of the three of you on the sail boat. You look right at home on the water, showing no fear that land is far away. I'm a "little" scared of water and love looking at the beauty of ocean but like keeping my feet on dry land.

Must be genetic Gayle...ha! I am scared to death on the ocean wondering what size the beast is that is looking back up at me!!! It is so deep and I have trouble just in my shallow lake! HA! Yes, they look very at home and some very nice tans to boot!!! I would look like a white sheet of paper next to them...but hopefully we will get some sun this year...no book to work on!!! Great to see the pictures David. Thanks so much...ps...I made the call and she will send the letter tomorrow.

Hi David! What great family pictures from your trip! I was in the Alamo class below Barb. It is fun to see how Shirley and Barb look alike. I can even see a bit of Tavia in Dasha. I get to see Barb every once in awhile at hockey games. Anyway, your trip looks like it was tons of fun. Take care!

Sigh! I love the water picture and I'm not afraid of the ocean! Of course, that doesn't mean I can swim at all well. I just love the water.
Nothing is more refreshing that being out on a boat in the sunshine. Now you are at home and can remember and sigh deeply.
Love, Andrea
